Ditch & Bank Complex at Leighton Farm
At Leigton Farm, I designed a ditch and bank complex perfect for first timers as well as the Novice/Training level horse looking for a new challenge. In addition to a mini-bank and fake ditch, the complex has been placed such that a variety of portable jumps can be placed to create challenging combinations using the ditches and banks.
A tiny bank to introduce young horses to the concept of stepping up and down.
We have created a natural curve from the tiny bank to a substantial bank which seamlessly lets horses gradually learn to bravely navigate banks up and down.
Leighton farm also has a fake ditch, small ditch, and bigger ditch to let us gradually increase the "scariness" factor of those dreaded ditches!
